Wacky Wednesday

Travis taught last night at Escape. He teaches a few times a semester and seems to really enjoy it and a lot of the students really like it too. He's a good teacher. We normally have about 130 high school students at Escape. He was teaching about humbly serving the people around you and compaired it to him showing Savannah he loves her by serving her and meeting her needs - and wouldn't ya know it - it got a little teary eyed. He loves Savannah so much. He said he was fine until he looked over and saw her playing in the back. Here's a picture of Savannah at Escape. She's wearing her head phones because it's during the worship part and it's really loud!

Wednesday nights are usually really crazy for us. Travis gets home around 5, we eat and head out to the church at 5:30, I help a little with D6, then we go to Escape from 7-10ish. Savannah is a trooper though. Here's how she ended her night. Dead to the world. Atta Baby.

So I am excited to jump right in thismorning and post my first REAL post.

I've been sick the last couple days - nothing big, just a bad cold. Being sick is way differnt when you have a baby! I am so worried about getting Savannah sick. When she's sick it's awful, when I'm sick it's just yucky. So on top of doing what I can to not pass germs (not kissing her, washing my hands, ect..) I'm also doing all I can to take care of myself. Including all of this:

Zicam, DayQuil, Nettie Pot, Hot lemonaid with honey, and a children's mulitvitamin (the adult ones make me sick).
I also wanted to point out that on the last post when I said I was giving up on laundry, I wasn't joking. What's the point? This is the clean stuff.

Number Uno

So when I have free time around here, and Savannah is asleep, and the bills are paid, and the dishes are done and the laundry...well I've given up on laundry... well anyway, I have found myself catching up on friend's blogs. It really is an interesting window into people's lives. So I thought today, I will begin our first Pierce family blog. Hopefully this will be an interesting window into our daily lives. Baby stuff, church stuff, work stuff, cooking, whatever. Fun times.
